KUALA LUMPUR, 15 JULY: Iskandar Waterfront City Bhd (IWCity) and Ekovest Bhd, both linked to businessman Tan Sri Lim Kang Hoo, saw their share prices fall in Bursa Malaysia morning trade today after IWCity’s major shareholder Iskandar Waterfront Holdings Sdn Bhd (IWH) said yesterday that the share sale agreement for IWH’s joint venture’s planned acquisition of a 60 percent stake in Bandar Malaysia Sdn Bhd had expired.
IWCity’s share price fell 0.5 sen, or 1.33 percent, to 37 sen at 10:21 a.m. today, after sliding to its lowest level of the day at 36.5 sen.
After plummeting to its lowest point of the day at 38 sen, Ekovest’s stock fell one sen, or 2.53%, to 38.5 sen.
