(July 11) KOTA BHARU: The investigations into Air Kelantan Sdn Bhd (AKSB) by the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) will have no impact on the state-owned subsidiary’s management.
While the former general manager of AKSB is being examined, Menteri Besar Datuk Ahmad Yakob stated that the company will not be affected.
“There should be no issues with AKSB management,” he says. “The state government has taken notice that investigations are underway, and we will cooperate fully.”
He told reporters this after visiting the Vaccination Outreach Program at Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan Agama Falahiah in Pasir Pekan today.
Bernama reported on Friday (July 9) that the MACC has remanded a 60-year-old former AKSB general manager and two others for three days to aid a fraud probe involving projects worth over RM27 million from 2015 to 2019.
