KUALA LUMPUR, Malaysia (July 2): Malaysia reported 6,982 new cases of Covid-19, raising the total number of cases to 765,949.
According to Health Director-General Tan Sri Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah, Selangor continues to have the greatest number of new daily infections with 2,907, followed by Kuala Lumpur (637), Negeri Sembilan (606) and Johor (517).
Sarawak (440), Penang (351), Pahang (329), Kedah (257), Sabah (230), Melaka (202), Labuan (131), and Kelantan are among the states having three-digit new cases (129).
