KUALA LUMPUR, 15 JULY: Malaysia’s health minister said on Thursday that once supplies of the Covid-19 vaccine from China’s Sinovac run out, the government will stop distributing it because it has enough alternative vaccines for its program.

Minister Adham Baba said during a press conference that Malaysia will employ the Pfizer-BioNTech mRNA vaccines more frequently. So far, the Southeast Asian country has received 12 million doses of the Sinovac vaccine, covering 18.75 percent of the population.
