KUALA LUMPUR, 15 JULY: For the third day in a row, Malaysia’s daily Covid-19 vaccination rate surpassed 400,000 doses, with 434,828 doses provided yesterday (July 14). On Tuesday (July 13), 424,541 doses were provided across the country, compared to 421,479 doses on Monday.
According to tweets by the Covid-19 Vaccine Supply Access Guarantee Special Committee (JKJAV), citing data from the Covid-19 Immunisation Task Force, 279,938 of the current 434,828 doses were supplied to first-dose users, while 154,890 received their second dose (CITF).
The seven-day moving average increased to 373,028 from 364,602 earlier, in line with the growing number of daily dosages delivered.
On Wednesday, Selangor had the largest number of daily shots for initial dosages, with 87,284, followed by Kuala Lumpur (48,343) and Sarawak (48,343). (21,484).

A total of 12.65 million doses of the Covid-19 vaccination have been distributed across the country.

Yesterday, the government reported a new high of 11,618 new Covid-19 cases, marking the second day in a row that new cases had surpassed the 11,000 threshold.
Since the first coronavirus case was recorded in the country in late January last year, the current number of active cases has risen to 101,359, marking the first time it has surpassed 100,000.
