Mexican peso shines after president loses some lustre in mid-term vote

Mexico’s peso strengthened to a near-one week high on Monday after mid-term elections confirmed President Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador’s MORENA party as the strongest force in the country, but with a reduced majority.
