KUALA LUMPUR, Malaysia (July 10): According to Finance Minister Tengku Datuk Seri Zafrul Tengku Abdul Aziz, the National Recovery Plan (NRP) is a flexible plan that will continue to be improved based on the current situation and demands. The government is ready and dedicated to bringing in specialists to review the plan’s success in terms of execution, according to Tengku Zafrul, who is also the NRP coordinating minister. This decision was made during the inaugural Special Cabinet Committee on the NRP (JKKPPN) meeting yesterday.
“We must always be flexible and adaptable. We’ve also agreed to appoint experts and listen to their advice, as well as conduct the necessary research with the participation of all stakeholders, he said after his visit to the University of Malaya’s Vaccination Centre. “The important thing is that we’ll improve the existing strategy based on the current situation,” he said.
During his visit, the minister also handed out 500 food baskets to ten surau and mosques, as well as the Lembah Pantai Residents’ Representative Council.
The NRP, according to Tengku Zafrul, is a comprehensive package that includes six main concepts for driving the country’s economic recovery.
This includes balancing life and work, providing clarity, re-establishing trust, and establishing a performance benchmark.
The JKKPPN will, among other things, assess the NRP’s plans and assistance to guarantee that Malaysia emerges from the pandemic in a methodical manner, particularly in light of the introduction of new and increasingly virulent Covid-19 strains./nRead More
