KUALA LUMPUR, 15 JULY: Nexgram Holdings Bhd has gained approval from Putrajaya for its TracAPM digital system to be commissioned as the official digital system for incoming travel quarantine management. Nexgram said in a statement today that the services include managing travelers’ quarantine at all international borders, managing quarantine stations, and managing quarantine transit.
Tri-G Technologies Sdn Bhd, Nexgram’s indirect 51 percent-owned subsidiary, gained the formal acceptance.
“For all travellers travelling into Malaysia, the TracAPM official travel permit SafeTravelPass allows Covid-19 quarantine entry registration and quarantine station payment,” Nexgram added.
The system, it added, supports the Malaysia Civil Defence Force’s fundamental functions.
Its functions include real-time tracking of traveler movements at quarantine stations, supporting with overall workflow, and monitoring traveler check-in and check-out at quarantine centers.
It will also enable travellers to register and be tracked at Hotspot Identification for Dynamic Engagement (HIDE) locations.
In addition, Covid-19 extermination agents can register vaccinations and keep track of data on connected supplies.
It also connects to the SafeTravelPass digital travel pass system, which Nexgram claims is compatible with worldwide digital travel passes registered with OnepassWorld.
Travellers can now use SafeTravelPass (https://safetravelpass.com.my) to register for Covid-19 and book and pay for quarantine hotels and services online at official rates, according to the firm.
Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin piloted TracAPM on March 24 and it was adopted and completely implemented by the government on June 21, according to the statement.
It was also mentioned that the system was officially handed over to the government yesterday (July 14)./nRead More
