WASHINGTON: According to a US administration official, the agreement on a global minimum tax struck by 130 countries on Thursday does not include any China-specific carveouts or exceptions. The agreement was signed by China and the other members of the Group of 20 major countries, and it approved proposals for a tax rate of at least 15%, according to the official.
