Malaysia’s Sustainability Sukuk issuance which was oversubscribed by 6.4 times yesterday reflected the international community’s confidence in the country’s ability to recover economically in spite of the Covid-19 pandemic, said Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin. Not only that, he said, the World Bank had earlier projected that the Malaysian economy would grow by six per cent this year while the Government had projected a gross domestic product (GDP) growth of between six and 7.5 per cent.
