PUTRAJAYA, 3 JULY: On Monday (July 5), Perlis, Kelantan, Perak, Pahang, and Terengganu will enter Phase 2 of the National Recovery Plan (PPN), according to Senior Minister (Security Cluster) Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob.
He stated that the decision was taken based on the states’ threshold values.
This was announced today at a joint news conference with Finance Minister Tengku Datuk Seri Zafrul Tengku Abdul Aziz in Kuala Lumpur.
The three parameters for transitioning to Phase 2 of the PPN are that the national daily average Covid-19 cases must fall below 4,000, intensive care unit (ICU) bed utilization should be mild, and at least 10% of the population must be fully vaccinated.
