KUALA LUMPUR, Malaysia (July 2): Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin will convene a parliamentary session as soon as feasible after the state of emergency ends on August 1.
Datuk Seri Takiyuddin Hassan, Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department in charge of legislation and Parliament, stated in a statement that the subject will be resolved in a Cabinet meeting on July 7.
“In all areas of ruling the country, including Parliament sittings, the federal government always upholds the Yang di-Pertuan Agong’s decree,” he said.
