KUALA LUMPUR, Malaysia (July 2): During the enhanced mobility control order (EMCO) period, which begins tomorrow at numerous sites in the Klang Valley, private medical facilities participating in the National Covid-19 Immunisation Programme (PICK) will continue to provide immunization. The registered public could acquire their immunization appointments and locations via the MySejahtera app, according to ProtectHealth Corp Sdn Bhd CEO Dr Anas Alam Faizli.
He told Bernama that the number of private medical facilities participating in the program had climbed to 964 from 700 in less than two weeks.
ProtectHealth, which is in charge of implementing private medical practitioner involvement in PICK, hopes to reach 2,000 to 3,000 participating private medical institutions by the end of August, he said.
As a result, Anas encouraged more private medical institutions around the country to join the program right away by enrolling on ProtectHealth’s website.
ProtectHealth is a wholly-owned non-profit company of the Ministry of Health (MoH) with the responsibility to register, train, monitor quality, conduct analysis and reporting, and pay all private medical practitioners who participate in the vaccination program./nRead More
