KUALA LUMPUR, 14 JULY: In morning trade today, the ringgit fell below 4.2000 against the US dollar as the US dollar surged and investors weighed Malaysia’s political and Covid-19 crisis, as well as the country’s vaccine progress to halt the pandemic’s spread.
The ringgit was trading at 4.13 against the US dollar at 8:41 a.m. today, compared to 4.1920 at the close yesterday.
Against the US dollar, the ringgit has moved between 4.1988 and 4.2023 so far today.
