More flights from Manila, Singapore and Mumbai have been suspended to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
Three airlines have been prohibited from landing in Hong Kong for flights departing from Manila, Mumbai and Singapore, in order to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
These are Cathay Pacific flights from Manila, Vistara flights from Mumbai, and Scoot flights from Singapore.
On April 18, the Department of Health announced that two passenger flights operated by Cathay Pacific on April 14 and 17 eached carried two passengers who were confirmed to have COVID-19 during their arrival test.
On the same day, Singapore Airlines joint-venture airline Vistara flew in three passengers confirmed to have COVID-19 from Mumbai.
The two airlines have been prohibited from landing passengers from these cities to Hong Kong from April 19 to May 2.
In addition, Singapore Airlines budget carrier SCOOT flew in two passengers confirmed to have COVID-19 upon arrival on April 11.
Flights from the budget airline have been suspended from April 16 to April 29.
