Ming Yan relocates from Boston to Singapore

Cambridge Associates managing director Ming Yan has relocated from the global investment firm’s Boston office to Singapore.

Yan will be responsible for managing multi-asset portfolios for family offices and institutional investors based in Asia, reporting to regional Asia head Aaron Costello.

Backed by 17 years of investment experience, Ming has advised clients with over $20 billion in assets, implementing investments across private and public asset classes.

Prot?g? Ventures launches S$500,000 fund

Prot?g? Ventures has launched a S$500,000 Fund II to support early-stage technology startups led by student founders.

The sector-agnostic fund will fund recent graduates of Singapore’s polytechnics and universities which are seeking their pre-seed to seed funding.

Prot?g? Ventures is a student-run venture fund programme set up by the Singapore Management University Institute of Innovation & Entrepreneurship.
