Tesla Inc (NASDAQ: TSLA) has teamed with one of the world’s top mobile games to include the well-known electric vehicle automaker. The relationship could increase Tesla’s international profile and lead to feature game deals.
Partnership between Tesla and PUBG: PUBG Mobile and Tesla have announced a new cooperation as part of an update for the popular mobile game, which was recently highlighted by Electrek. The following special Tesla content will be available in a new game mode dubbed “Mission Ignition”:
Activate assembly line switches at the Tesla Gigafactory to begin the process of building the Tesla Model Y.
Model Y & Self-Driving: Inside the Tesla vehicle, use autopilot mode to travel to pre-set spots on the highway.
Tesla Semi: Randomly spawned Tesla Semis with self-driving capabilities appear on the road. Cause the Tesla Semi to dump random supply crates by inflicting damage on it.
The Reason for Its Importance: PUBG Smartphone is one of the most popular mobile games, with lifetime sales of $5.1 billion earlier this year. In 2020, PUBG Mobile generated an average daily income of $7.4 million.
In 2020, PUBG Mobile earned a revenue of $2.7 billion, thanks to a massive increase in usage during the epidemic.
With $2.8 billion in lifetime sales, China is the game’s most lucrative market. The popularity of PUBG Mobile in China may help to raise brand awareness.
PUBG Mobile is also quite popular in India, which Tesla considers to be the next big market. In 2020, PUBG Mobile was subjected to a ban in the country, but the corporation stood firm. PUBG has formed a new company named PUBG India Private Limited, which has just released a new version of the Battlegrounds mobile game.
According to Eurogamer, Battleground Mobile began on July 2 in India and has over 34 million registered users, 16 million daily active users, and a peak of 2.4 million concurrent users.

“When automobiles drive themselves, entertainment will be crucial,” Tesla CEO Elon Musk previously stated.
Tencent Holdings ADR owns various video gaming firms, including PUBG Mobile (OTC: TCEHY). Tesla could be featured in additional games in the future as a result of the agreement with PUBG Mobile, or Tesla could get Tencent-owned games in the Tesla Arcade.
League of Legends, Fortnite, and Honor of Kings are among the games owned by Tencent or its subsidiaries.
With an estimated 5 percent interest in Tesla, Tencent is also a major stakeholder.
