KUALA LUMPUR, Malaysia (July 2): Touch ‘n Go Group (TnG) announced a cooperation with the Malaysian Digital Economy Corporation (MDEC) and the Ministry of Finance (MoF) to support Budget 2021 priorities through the Go-eCommerce Onboarding and Shop Malaysia Online (SMO) campaigns. The company stated in a statement today that the social media ads will run from July 1 to December 31, 2021, with the goal of supporting local companies and encouraging online shopping.
Each micro enterprise, small and medium business, or Malaysian individual (without a business registration) that successfully registers with TnG eWallet during the campaign period will be entitled to an RM20 subsidy for the first successful sale transacted, according to TNG Digital Sdn Bhd chief executive officer Ignatius Ong.
This offer is only valid for the first 80,000 approved TnG eWallet merchants during the promotion time.
Meanwhile, he claims that the SMO campaign, in which TnG eWallet is taking part for the second time, would assist promote government incentives to encourage new and existing customers to shop online.
