KUALA LUMPUR, Malaysia (July 10): Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad, who turned 96 today, wishes for Malaysia to be developed by all parties until it achieves its goal of being a developed country.
The former prime minister also expresses gratitude for the time and opportunity he was given to serve his religion, race, and nation.
“I apologize if what I did upset anyone,” he stated in a Facebook post that was followed by a more than one-minute video clip showing many events that occurred during his term.
He also expressed gratitude to everyone who wished him a “Happy Birthday.”
On July 10, 1925, Dr Mahathir, the country’s fourth and seventh prime minister, was born in Seberang Perak, Alor Setar, Kedah.
