Tyson Foods Inc said in a statement late Saturday that it is recalling almost 8.5 million pounds of frozen, fully cooked chicken due to concerns about possible exposure to a dangerous pathogen. According to the statement, the items were created between December 26, 2020 and April 13, 2021 at a factory in Missouri. “While there is no clear proof that the products were contaminated at the time of shipment,” the US meat processor said, “the voluntary recall is being initiated out of an abundance of caution.” (Reuters)/n
