Here’s what you need to know to navigate the markets today.

• U.S. stocks are set to open Monday slightly up. On Sunday night,

Dow Jones Industrial Average

futures had gained 18 points, or 0.05%, while the

S&P 500

futures gained 0.08% and

Nasdaq Composite

futures gained 0.15%. This week’s earnings include:

JPMorgan Chase,

Goldman Sachs

and

PepsiCo

on Tuesday;

BlackRock,

Bank of America,

Wells Fargo,

Citigroup

and

Delta Air Lines

on Wednesday; and

Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing,

UnitedHealth Group,

and

Morgan Stanley

on Thursday; and

Kansas City Southern

and

Ericsson

on Friday. Notable economic events this week include: on Tuesday, the National Federation of Independent Business reports its Small Business Optimism Index for June. The Bureau of Labor Statistics releases its consumer price index for June on Tuesday and its producer price index for June on Wednesday. The Federal Reserve releases its latest beige book on Wednesday. On Friday, the Census Bureau releases its retail sales data for June and the University of Michigan reports its Consumer Sentiment index for July.
