Loren Elliott/REUTERS Reuters, WASHINGTON, July 9 – The Justice Department’s attempt to derail insurance broker Aon’s (AON.N) planned $30 billion acquisition of Willis Towers Watson has been split into two trials by Judge Reggie Walton (WTY.F). The bench trial in the matter will be held from Nov. 18 to 23, and Dec. 20 to 22, according to the judge’s ruling, which was released on Friday. The trial will take place at the District of Columbia’s United States District Court.
