Reuters Despite falling at the final Euro hurdle, the heroic Danes show heart. After Christian Eriksen’s collapse in the first half of their Euro 2020 campaign, Denmark came roaring back to reach the semi-finals, only to lose to England after extra time. The closest most of the Danish players had come to tragedy and drama was probably the statue of Hamlet outside their hotel base in Helsingor, but Eriksen’s cardiac arrest against Finland propelled them into the international spotlight.
