Bursa mixed at midday, KLCI up

KUALA LUMPUR (June 25): Bursa Malaysia ended the morning session mixed as its key index remained in positive territory on buying support among the heavyweights, while a negative trend emerged in the broader market.

At midday, the FBM KLCI had gained 4.17 points to 1,559.88 from yesterday’s close at 1,555.71.

The market bellwether, which opened 0.45 of a point better at 1,556.16, fluctuated between 1,556.16 and 1,563.47 throughout the session.
