Covid-19 : Malaysia’s new daily cases fall to 3,733

KUALA LUMPUR (May 9): Malaysia’s daily number of newly confirmed Covid-19 cases fell to 3,733 today from 4,519 yesterday.

Health director-general Tan Sri Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah said today in an update on Twitter that the latest figure brought the country’s cumulative number of Covid-19-infected individuals to 440,677 so far.

Dr Noor Hisham said Selangor reported today the highest daily number of newly confirmed Covid-19 cases with 1,278, followed by Sarawak with 454.

Elsewhere, Johor and Kuala Lumpur recorded 365 and 338 new cases respectively, he said.
