KUALA LUMPUR (May 21): The High Court here today had granted leave to Alam Maritim Resources Bhd and its wholly-owned subsidiary Alam Maritim (M) Sdn Bhd to restructure the oil and gas services group’s debts.
Judicial Commissioner Adlin Abdul Majid granted leave to Alam Maritim Resources and Alam Maritim (M) Sdn Bhd during a virtual court hearing via Zoom today.
According to Alam Maritim Resources’ latest balance sheet, the group’s total borrowings on Dec 31, 2020 amounted to RM102.56 million, of which RM99.03 million are short-term borrowings.
