JOHOR BAHRU (May 26): Johor Immunity Planning System (IMMU Plan) a special portal for Malaysians working in Singapore to register for the COVID-19 vaccine, is the State Government’s initiative and not related to the Johor palace.

“The link (IMMU Plan) is not related to the Johor palace,” said Royal Press Office (RPO), which is the official media and communications office of Johor Royal Family, in a statement, here, today.

The statement by RPO follows a viral post of the link (https://www.immuplan.my/apply-now) with a message claiming that the Sultan of Johor is offering free Pfizer or Moderna COVID-19 vaccines.

The fake message also claims that the registration is only for residents of Johor, which is open until 8pm today.

The link went viral on Whatsapp about an hour after the AstraZeneca vaccine registration for five States, including Johor, was closed after it was opened at 12.15pm today.

IMMU Plan is the Johor Government’s effort to help Malaysians working in Singapore, with valid working permits or employment letters, to be vaccinated against Covid-19, and registration had started since April 29.
