Malaysia’s April 2021 CPI up 4.7% on-year, highest since 2018 – DOSM

KUALA LUMPUR (May 21): Malaysia’s inflation, as measured by the consumer price index (CPI), rose 4.7% in April 2021 from a year earlier, driven by the increase in the CPI’s transport segment due to a low base effect, according to the Department of Statistics, Malaysia (DOSM) today.
