MISC 1Q net profit at RM430m versus net loss of RM1.16b a year ago

KUALA LUMPUR (May 6): MISC Bhd reported today a first-quarter net profit of RM429.8 million versus a net loss of RM1.16 billion a year earlier as the shipping firm’s revenue rose.

In a statement to Bursa Malaysia today, MISC said revenue rose to RM2.54 million for the first quarter ended March 31, 2021 (1QFY21) from RM2.51 billion a year earlier.
