New Covid-19 cases in Malaysia jump to 1,767, says Dr Noor Hisham

KUALA LUMPUR (April 13): New Covid-19 cases in Malaysia jumped to 1,767 — from 1,317 the day before — bringing total cases due to the pandemic to 363,940.

Malaysia has been recording four-digit new cases every day for over four months now. Today is the 15th straight day that new cases stay above the 1,000 mark.

Sarawak today topped the list with most new Covid-19 cases at 607, followed by Selangor (483) and Kuala Lumpur (133), according to Health director-general Tan Sri Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah in a Tweet.
