KUALA LUMPUR (June 7): Tenaga Nasional Bhd’s (TNB) foreign shareholding fell to 12.31% as at April 30, 2021 from 12.39% a month earlier, according to latest updates on the government-controlled utility’s website.
TNB’s foreign shareholding chart showed that the company’s foreign shareholding had fallen for 11 consecutive months as at April 30, 2021 since May 29, 2020 when the group’s foreign shareholding stood at 16.53%.
On Bursa Malaysia on Friday (June 4, 2021), TNB’s share price closed down five sen or 0.5% to RM9.93 for a market value of about RM56.9 billion.
TNB has 5.73 billion issued shares.
Over the last one year, TNB’s share price has fallen to the current level from RM11.90 on June 9, 2020.
